Round-up 2020! The year that was!

Hey guys!

Firstly I would like to thank everyone for the love and support shown to my blog. This blog has come quite far in the last seven years and this year has been the best by far in the terms of blog posts. I have connected with a lot of amazing bloggers over the last few months and I am truly grateful for the encouragement they have shown me!

In addition, it has been hard for everyone due to the pandemic, but I am grateful for the time spent with family and friends. I also got more time to read and this has helped pass the time.

In this post, I would just like to express my gratitude to all the authors and publishers who reached out to me and congratulate all the authors who had their book published this year!

I look forward to further collaborations with authors and bloggers alike!

On the books front, you can check out my posts which summarize the books read this year in terms of genre and based on the Goodreads Reading Challenge!

Wishing you a very Happy and Bookish New Year in advance!

  1. Namrata, congratulations on your seventh year of blogging. Writing reviews is a hard job, in my experience and takes an enormous amount of time, so my hat’s off to you. There is so much to read in the world that it could be overwhelming. Did you see the movie, the Professor and the Madman? It’s an amazing story about the creation of the Oxford Dictionary and the Professor’s efforts to track down ever word used in the English language. I think that’s how I feel about reading. Everyone is writing these days and the numbers of books are rising exponentially. It seems like a worthy but impossible task. I think it took 70 years to create the Oxford Dictionary, but it was finished.

    • Marsha, thank you for stopping by and for the words of encouragement. I am so grateful to have connected with you and I look forward to keeping in touch and further collaborations! I do agree that writing reviews requires dedication and sometimes I find myself lacking the motivation, but this year I made more of an effort and I hope to continue in this way! Wishing you a very happy new year!
